Ministry Update September 2025

Answered Prayers, Fresh Paint, and New Beginnings

Hello Friends,

September always feels like a month of transition—summer fades, routines return, and new things start to take shape. At Dare for More, this season is no different. God is moving in beautiful ways, and we’re so excited to share a few meaningful updates with you.

A Tribute to Generosity
Since the day our safe house opened its doors, we’ve wanted to create something special to honor the people who made it possible. The sacrificial giving of churches, families, and individuals is the very reason women and children can find hope, healing, and safety here. And now, we finally get to show you the tribute we’ve been dreaming about.

Andrea McGuirt, one of our board members—and a talented artist and art teacher—has created a stunning mural that now hangs at the entrance of the safe house. It’s a vibrant of joy and hope. And within every splash of color are the names of those who gave so this home could be a reality.

Now, every time our staff walks through that door—or a woman enters, scared and unsure of what’s ahead—they pass a reminder that God answers prayer, and that people gave generously so they could find a new beginning. We are deeply grateful for every name on that wall.

Mission Trip Opportunities
Our 2026 mission trip calendar is already filling up, and we would love for you to join us! There’s nothing quite like being on the ground—meeting the women, serving the children, and seeing how God is using Dare for More to bring transformation.

If you’ve ever felt the nudge to go, let this be your sign. I can personally promise that it will be a life-changing experience. Head over to our website to learn more and reserve your spot:  dareformore.org/mission-trips

Return to Me: Refreshed and Re-Releasing
I’m also thrilled to share that my Bible study, Return to Me, is getting a refresh! Originally released in 2013, I’ve always loved how God has used it to speak to women in different seasons of life. But recently, I’ve felt a strong prompting to revisit it—adding in some new lessons and insights He’s been teaching me.

Right now, I’m teaching the new version live every Monday night here in Chattanooga. We’re filming a brand-new video series in partnership with Calvary Baptist Church, and I’m so excited for how it’s coming together. The revised study will be available early next year, and I truly believe it will continue to meet women right where they are and lead them into deeper relationship with the Lord.

As always, thank you for continuing to walk with us. Whether you’re praying, giving, traveling, or simply cheering us on—you’re part of every victory and every changed life. We couldn’t do this without you.

With joy and gratitude,
Reba Bowman
