Meet Wes
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but grew up in North Carolina in a Christian home. I accepted Christ at age 12 and surrendered my life fully to Him at 19. After earning a degree in Marketing, God called me into ministry, where I served for more than 24 years in youth, Christian education, and adult ministry before joining Dare for More. During that time, I also served part-time at my church while working as a real estate agent. Throughout the years, God continued to deepen my involvement with Dare for More.
Today, I have the privilege of serving as Director of Mobilization and Donor Engagement. I lead mission teams to Guatemala, helping individuals and churches experience firsthand how God is rescuing women and children, equipping women through vocational training, and bringing hope through the Gospel. I also build relationships with donors and ministry partners who make this life-changing work possible in both Guatemala and the United States.

I grew up in a Godly home and was attending church from the day I was born. I thought I was saved at 5 but God convicted me when I was 12 and I truly came to know Christ. I was baptized again, and this time for real. When I was 19 God started gripping my heart about serving Him. At that time, I was only thinking about myself and being a success. I was sitting in a church service on a Wednesday night and I have no idea what the pastor was speaking on, but God was dealing with my heart. He kept putting the phrase in my heart, “I gave my whole life for you, what are you doing for Me. ”That night I surrendered my life to the Lord and committed myself to serving Him, wherever He sent me and whatever He wanted me to do. It has been an amazing journey since that day, and I can’t begin to describe what God has done for me and in my life.

My sister, Reba, is the founder and CEO of Dare for More. I have been involved in this ministry since its founding. I have served on the board of directors for many years. A few years ago I went on a missions trip to Guatemala with Dare for More. This trip changed my life. I knew I wanted to be more involved in the ministry of Dare for More Guatemala. God began working on me on that trip and has led me to this point to serve with Dare for More.

I will be the Director of Mobilization and Donor Engagement. As part of that role I will be leading mission trips to Guatemala and sharing what God is doing there through Dare for More. I will also be helping cultivate and gather donors to help in the ministry of Dare for More.
I will be taking individuals and church groups on mission trips to Guatemala. We use these trips to showcase what God is doing for those in dire need in this country. We introduce these groups to our safe house where we rescue women and children out of sex trafficking and extreme abuse. We also show them how we are training women to escape from extreme poverty and gain skills and knowledge to provide for their families. We introduce our groups to our training centers, baking classes, and coffee ministry, which are all our means to help these women and continue to let this ministry thrive. I will also be helping gain donors and partners in the States so that God’s work at Dare for More can continue in the United States and Guatemala.
It would be an honor to have you partner with me in this ministry. While not everyone is called to serve on the mission field, we are all invited to be part of what God is doing. Through your prayers and financial support, you become an essential part of this work—helping bring hope to women and children, sharing the Gospel, and seeing lives transformed through Christ. Thank you for prayerfully considering partnering with me as I follow God's call. I am grateful for your encouragement, your prayers, and your investment in the life-changing work of Dare for More.
