In Guatemala, thousands of women face an invisible war.
Trapped in poverty, overlooked by education systems, and targeted by traffickers. Without opportunity, their future is often chosen for them.
That’s why Dare for More is expanding our training centers — to offer more women a seat at the table before abuse or exploitation ever begins.
These are more than classrooms. They are places of prevention, protection, and purpose. Women learn to sew, bake, and build a business — but more than that, they learn that they are capable, valuable, and seen.

Right now, our sewing program is at full capacity, and we have many women waiting to be trained. But our current space is too small to hold any more students.
We have a location on our current property that we will transform into a larger, fully equipped training center. This expansion will allow us to train more women and offer jobs to many who graduate — but we need your help to open the doors.

Ana’s Story: From Survival to Strength
When Ana’s husband abandoned the family, she was left alone to care for her children — with no job, no support, and no way to send them to school. Poverty closed every door, and her children’s future was slipping through her fingers
Then she heard about our training center. Ana started small, learning to crochet and craft simple charms. But her determination didn’t stay small for long. She advanced to sewing home goods, then moved into our leatherwork program — where she became one of the most skilled women in her class. Today, Ana is providing for her children, and they’re thriving in school. Her community is still unsafe, so she continues to work under Dare for More’s protection — and she’s now hoping to be hired full-time as the program expands.
“I never imagined I could do something like this,” Ana says. “Now I believe I can build something better for my children.”
