Ministry Update - June 2026
Dear Friends,
Recently, I had the opportunity to speak at an event, and afterward a woman came up to talk with me. She shared that many years ago she had purchased my Bible study, Return to Me, during a very difficult season of her life.
As she spoke, tears filled her eyes. She shared how a bad decision she had made years before had followed her every day since. Shame had cast a shadow over her life, and no matter how much time had passed, she could not seem to move beyond it.
Through the study, she began to understand something that changed her life: God loved her deeply, and forgiveness was not only available to her—it was something He longed for her to receive.
Recently, she decided to go through the newly updated version of the study, and once again she found God meeting her in the deepest and most difficult places of her heart. She stood there overwhelmed with gratitude for the freedom and healing she had experienced.
As I listened to her story, I was reminded that so many people carry heavy things that Jesus died to free us from. Shame, regret, fear, and pain often convince us that we must carry them forever. But the truth of the Gospel is that there is hope for every situation, every circumstance, and every dark moment.
That hope is at the center of everything we do at Dare for More. Whether in our safe house or in someone’s own home, we are constantly reminded that God is still healing hearts, restoring lives, and calling people into freedom.
Sometimes we do not fully see the impact of the seeds planted years earlier. But moments like this remind me that God continues working long after the moment has passed, bringing healing in ways only He can.
Thank you for continuing to pray, support, and walk alongside this ministry. Your partnership helps create spaces where women can encounter both practical help and lasting hope.
Around the Ministry
There are many exciting things happening across Dare for More as we continue preparing for the season ahead.
At the safe house, we recently welcomed a new family. The mother is doing well and has been so grateful to find a safe place to land. Not long after arriving, she asked if she could stay forever. Moments like that remind us how deeply people long for safety, peace, and stability.
In our training centers, we are making many important improvements as we prepare to serve more women in the future. From continuing work on our new space to helping women grow into new challenges and opportunities, this season is full of preparation and growth. We also have some wonderful new products on the way that we are excited to share soon.
At the medical clinic, summer often brings new needs and challenges. Our team has been checking in on older patients and caring for those whose health is impacted during the rainy season. We are grateful to continue providing consistent care to vulnerable families in our community.
Overall, this feels like a season of preparation as we strengthen current programs, welcome new opportunities, and ask God to guide us as we continue reaching those He loves.
With Graditude,
Reba
